The Protective Order Application can take approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour to complete. Please make sure all information is filled out completely and to the best of your knowledge.

PERJURY is a crime: A criminal act wherein a person commits an offense if, with intent to deceive and with knowledge of the statement’s meaning, he or she makes a false statement under oath or swears to the truth of a false statement previously made, and the statement is required or authorized by law to be made under oath or he/she makes a false declaration. The offense is a Class A Misdemeanor.
PROTECTIVE ORDERS are a serious matter. They are obtained solely for victims of family violence, dating violence or sexual assault. Our office will investigate each case thoroughly and will seek a protective order for those that qualify. Failure to provide the requested information may delay your case.
Note: There are other victims ahead of you. This intake process is done on a first-come, first-served basis and we appreciate your patience. A Crime Victim Liaison will call you as soon as your paperwork is processed and the criminal and civil background checks are completed.
